Every step is a milestone.

What do we aim to do?

At Aasieyah, we work towards educating, encouraging, and empowering underprivileged children. Our aim is to provide them with monetary funds and holistic education that goes beyond the regular curriculum. With almost negligible exposure and parse resources, these children have a very small window to view the world. We seek to sensitize the young generation to global problems and important human rights movements. Our mission is to enable this entire section of society to equip themselves in not only improving their own lives but being able to contribute towards a better community.

Why did we start this initiative?

Back in March, the current team at Aasieyah conducted an art workshop for a group of underprivileged kids in our locality who were severely affected by the ongoing pandemic. Upon interacting with them and seeing their creations, we recognized their immense talent. We felt inspired to do what we can, as the more fortunate, to give opportunities and funding to these children, that they are unable to avail themselves because of their social and economic standings, especially during the lock-down. We wish to help these kids realize their full potential and become the next world leaders.

AAYUSHI BIKASH KUMAR

As a psychology student, Aayushi Bikash Kumar understands the importance of a supportive and encouraging environment for the healthy development of a child. She wishes to do her best to provide underprivileged kids with a fun and empowering surrounding to learn and grow in. She is an avid reader and a language enthusiast. Her friendly and empathetic character makes her a pleasure to have on any team. She is a diligent worker who values effort, dedication and patience. Her hobbies center around poetry, art and chess. Through this initiative, she hopes to help create a better future for less fortunate children.

AMRITANSH PADHI

Amritansh Padhi is the epitome of kindness and affection. A senior at DPS, Greater Noida, he’s a hands-on individual who recognizes his duties towards the world and cares about fulfilling them with the utmost sincerity. He aims to get into biological research in the future and will be an able guide to the children. He is eager to interact with people on any given day. His ability to connect with them is what makes him a vital asset for the organization. The charming personality and positive energy he brings to the room are definitely a plus. He’s the go-to person and is always keen on lending a helping hand.

SANA SIDDIQUI

Sana Siddiqui is a senior at DPS Greater Noida. She has always held the desire to reach out to the children in need/the less fortunate children and aims to amiably play her part in contributing towards the betterment of society. She wishes to help the kids develop a wider perspective of the world around them and make the educational experience fun and enjoyable to them. She is a very reliable person and a delight to have on any team. She’s always up for opportunities to help others with their tasks, while dutifully fulfilling her role. The added support and diverse skill set she brings to the table are truly an asset.

SAUMYA GARG

Saumya Garg is a 12th grader at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida. Having been honing her skills for years now, and also being ambitious. She likes socializing and interacting with people who have a similar take online, and similar interests. She is, in fact, open to listening to such ideas, no matter what the source for the sole purpose of seeking the truth. But subjectively, her astute sense and clear, lucid-mindedness have helped many teams more than one time, due to her uncanny knack of rising above and beyond to tackle a problem. She is, in the simplest and the most direct definition, a problem solver.

SHIVAM PUROHIT

Shivam Purohit is a 12th grader at Delhi Public School Greater Noida, who's life works on the principle of KAIZEN. He's a tech nerd who is mastering the art of capturing beautiful moments through his camera. He's a person who is full of surprises in the best way possible. Coming from a place of privilege, he feels it is his duty to aid those who aren’t as fortunate as him. Shivam loves to try out a different genre of life. He's a cyclist and a novel enthusiast. He lets off steam through anime and a variety of games.
